I picked a spot and Cody went and ran the tiller through it for me. I started with getting all of the weeds out and then leveled the ground. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5614830344679044770" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbusC-UBG-5_ecmIb6ldogWvOvd94IUcVnIftTZAxHkpDXgYiFyKIwkziohkabPSE9uA2-jOXRDmXYQ_XcbMg7icpIEUvHZmH-IzmQ5F-J5fKZdgRIRh0exzlkVcvH2a0fe9_GKwR3eaJU/s320/HPIM1209.JPG" border="0" />Diane <em>(Cody's Mom)</em> and I went to the Wal-Mart to pick out some plants and get some soil. We also got Plant Food and some cute gardening gloves LOL. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZh9ccO4DrNacDPzYKIWNr8eutDnORhjQUbHXpRdJn2nT5iLpNFP1CAWolpg8qJE9Sfp31hsXl-YpmewX3oZBeBEllPFtejT25YAwT5YcVw-CTtwkUYuuWFU1a1nCgx0DyJtyued52RmZK/s1600/HPIM1210.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5614831194536782050" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZh9ccO4DrNacDPzYKIWNr8eutDnORhjQUbHXpRdJn2nT5iLpNFP1CAWolpg8qJE9Sfp31hsXl-YpmewX3oZBeBEllPFtejT25YAwT5YcVw-CTtwkUYuuWFU1a1nCgx0DyJtyued52RmZK/s320/HPIM1210.JPG" border="0" /></a>When we got back home we formed an assembly line and together got the job done quickly. We were pretty damn proud of ourselves. It was really hard work, a lot harder than I had anticipated <em>(I hurt everytime I moved for the next two days).</em><br /><br />My garden was so cute! It was well worth all the work. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioXeiTXL2EEoRFWXnKRrphQo8av8SfwwdmZTkhMMRz02fFx6m49ZBY10sK7ipjZCLkIkOdRkyE5qBRpGtwkKHHopM4U_s3iyRyN9g4uTpwlgJ94cPnk7_vVfUf8NwsnEPcS_uey0_1Mby8/s1600/HPIM1211.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5614831345383895410" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioXeiTXL2EEoRFWXnKRrphQo8av8SfwwdmZTkhMMRz02fFx6m49ZBY10sK7ipjZCLkIkOdRkyE5qBRpGtwkKHHopM4U_s3iyRyN9g4uTpwlgJ94cPnk7_vVfUf8NwsnEPcS_uey0_1Mby8/s320/HPIM1211.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br />We Planted:<br />> 3 Tomatoes *two Big Boys and one Cherry Tomato*<br />2 Crook Neck Squash<br />1 Cucumber<br />1 Pepper<br />1 Sweet Basil<br />1 Cantalope<br />1 Watermelon<br /><br /><br />A Week In:<br /><br /><br /><br /><div align="center"><strong>R.I.P Cantalope</strong></div><strong><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5614840359165592450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFJ8n5Cq-iEE_hyphenhyphen81fVrGzOyf0XYJbsRgnScsxpQKPo_hhyphenhyphenqkhDEoWwQ4fw_moBgzYJE53LJQlH6B0McOfrw3R3RLymtx7XjA5Hsciu06GUuu2HYCELjZkKSM2JJA_ef75PoANifrLGCGH/s200/HPIM1226.JPG" border="0" /></strong> > My <strong>Cantalope </strong>Died. I think I killed it. On the way home from the Wal-Mart it got tipped over and one of the leaves on it broke. <em>(There is no way that was releated to my bad driving.) </em>We planted it, but it couldn't be saved.<br />> My mom came by to see it <em>(I was so excited I had to show someone). </em>She gave me some good adivce:<br />1. Go and buy another <strong>pepper</strong>. You need two of them to cross pollenate each other. <em>(For the record I HATE <strong>peppers</strong>, but Diane likes them so we put them in) </em><br />2. Get a couple little flowers and plant them in the garden, they will help with getting bees to come around to pollenate the peppers.<br />> I think my <strong>watermelon</strong> is dieing. I'm not going to give up on it. We will see what happens.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Exactly 7 days after Planting:<br />Diane was out working in the backyard when she noticed how bad the soil we planted the garden in was. At first we were thinking camping. Fun & and not too expensive. Well everywhere you could go camping in Utah and Idaho had bad weather warnings, so we put our heads together. We were all determined to go out of town, but where? LAS VEGAS NEVADA! Why not right, we had enough to cover gas, they paid for the hotel, and I drove! Perfect idea! We booked the hotel, and planned everything out, and we left Friday for Vegas!<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5482738608930580322" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDyrTcw6t_WUpfLkyoQrHBYq_LyxzoroscEtKN3k4N4bcaTbsZQ4zc_e6eJznr2pu_76JulQdbuK_c7RwkIOx58ByUtixrauK75EyVJ6gFxgjQrgv7vJS7pKbQwB88lYzJc6QBYcYRZjSw/s320/Hotel2.jpg" /><strong><span style="font-size:85%;"> Our Hotel "The Vegas Club"</span></strong></div><div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:85%;"></span></strong> </div>It only took us 6 hours to get there, we ended up in Vegas at about 6 or 7. I wanted to see the Lion Habitat. By far the coolest thing ever. The male Lion got so close I could have touched him if the glass wouldnt have been there. I loved it. It rained on us a little but it wasnt too bad.<br /></p><div><div><br /><div><br /><div><div><div align="center"><span style="font-size:85%;"> </div></span><div> </div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 241px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5482742054672746194" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRsfW_9uVjSJQLYJBBtckAc2q7Kh2Yx6Z04I-OTfZIV6ySvHbTpGa8SuuWYfxicnGgV8Q5hZat09tmswL5X5bJ6BWtkUVjhFCfJi0hNSJ3SKY5LxAb9AYT37mY85C2HhrtpaGUOgNh0-nw/s320/M&M.jpg" /> </div><div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:85%;">Cody & I with the M&M car</span></strong></div><div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:85%;"></span></strong> </div><div>After that we went back to the hotel and layed down for a little bit. We wanted to be rested for the night. Me and Cody went and got some food, and went and checked out the pool, it was too cold to swim, but the pool area was cool. To go on the strip that night we decided to take the bus to help preserve our gas to get home. So we walked to the bottom of Fremont Street and bought our bus tickets. Well we ended up giving away our bus tickets because they wouldnt let us take drinks on the bus. So we just took the car.<img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5482741779407156050" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiD2oZ-i54ZZjol84c2CzS2SYELepNoQR8RtA48qUlcmI69-cnYe28WMkSrlK3VKPbYqQt9BxPoLjU0EQxZUpZ7vHoeRYUYEx7oZShl4WkabVx4KpBZX7AraFUpx1x1CQdeAaNjdJtvZsmN/s200/Luxor.jpg" /></div><div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:85%;">Me and My Honey @ the Luxor</span></strong></div><div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:85%;"></span></strong> </div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5482740973459883698" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipl9r3LgXjrXXvJLLCisFlVCkxhKJFjKevm-DTKOVYZ8ww9qs3LlVRuSlQVrppzAE9cXWrA9gAoxxq6JRY7IAyDdVIuyTOxGgyN5MlAGlSnUoSGy2TIPelS-cTMYwsnxRFTpQAZwWl2_Em/s200/Lime+green+car.jpg" /> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-size:85%;"><strong>Kazya & I with the Super Cute Lamborghini!</strong></span></div><div align="center"><strong><span style="font-size:85%;"></span></strong> </div><div>We parked at the luxor again, and went to the MGM. We walked down to Tresaure Island to see the show, but we missed it so we started to head back towards the car, (Cory and Kazya were waiting for us). I wish you many birthday wishes and thanks for being you. I love and miss you!<br />Love </div><div align="left">Ariel</div>ARIELhigleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13902777085714933870noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142321482732777311.post-76767683998923513752010-04-06T10:16:00.000-07:002010-04-06T10:30:40.095-07:00EaStErThe older you get the more lame Easter becomes. Luckly Cody has nephews and nieces that make it fun!<br />This year our Easter started out at my Mom's house for breakfast with me, Cody, my mom, and Cody's mom Diane. We had eggs, ham, toast, & hashbrowns. It was delicious! Cody was particularly pleased, because he made little sandwiches. YUM!<br />After breakfast we headed up to McKay Dee Hospitial because a new addition to Cody's family was on her way. Cory & Kazya were about to become Mommy & Daddy (Cody's brother and his fiance). We got to the hospital around 11 o'clock, and the waiting game began. She was born @ 2:17, 8lbs, 10oz, and 21 inches long. Big beautiful baby girl! She looks just like Kazya I think, but she has Cory's nose. What a perfect little Easter miricale.<br />After the hospital we went to Cody's sister Abbie's house for dinner. Her mom, sister, cousin, grandma, and Mom's boyfriend were in town for easter (Abbie hasn't seen them in about 4 years) it was nice meeting everyone, and hearing the stories of Abbie's youth.<br />After Abbie's we went to our friend Lu's house for a fire pit. (we always at Lu's) while we were there, the most <strong><span style="font-size:180%;">embarassing</span></strong> thing happened! While sitting around the fire pit out back, I got a phone call and I didnt recognize the phone number. (since I changed my # last I keep getting these calls for some guy. Bill collectors & friends of this guy keep calling, and it is really frustrating to me LOL). So I picked up the phone, and it was a guy. I said hello, and he said hello, we kinda sat there for a min (by now I figure it is for that guy, and I got really frustrated) I asked the man on the phone "who the f*&^ is this" (excuse my language), well....long story short....it was my DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of all people to swear at like that....MY DAD!! I was so embarrassed! I appologized more than a few times, but we had a good talk despite my profanity.<br />I miss my dad, we dont talk much so when we get a chance its nice.<br />Well that is how my easter went. Sorry there are no pictures. We didnt take any lol (not prepared).<br />Happy Easter!!ARIELhigleyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13902777085714933870noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4142321482732777311.post-8804390934335162172010-03-31T10:09:00.000-07:002010-03-31T10:42:31.777-07:00~tattoos~The world is divided into two kinds of people: Thos who have tattoos, and those who are afraid of people with tattoos. Either that or they think we are bad people. Its the year 2010 more than just bikers and ex-cons get tattoos. It's sad really but its true. I have tattoos, and "for a girl" quite a few. I love my tattoos. But I do get those awkward stares from people when I'm at the grocery store, or at a resturant.<br />Tattoo's are the thing of my generation. And all of my tattoos have a meaning to me.<br /><div><div align="right"></div><div align="right"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJgfkmvTM8b9dhyE7TgChG6VofJBzhspwE_oxAkJzTpw22_VII3yY7ZtDDr7E9InNBlmSEk6jT-GRLeJRQvYB1NNCw71GqwNwm3GHnjTHklc73r-9VBS-S_RcQiWsDcMgCyh-DLiKDUYFA/s1600/l_19df520107a94566a2012d6f7ff7d9ef.jpg"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 150px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 200px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5454849472772290946" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJgfkmvTM8b9dhyE7TgChG6VofJBzhspwE_oxAkJzTpw22_VII3yY7ZtDDr7E9InNBlmSEk6jT-GRLeJRQvYB1NNCw71GqwNwm3GHnjTHklc73r-9VBS-S_RcQiWsDcMgCyh-DLiKDUYFA/s200/l_19df520107a94566a2012d6f7ff7d9ef.jpg" /></a>This tattoo is my quarter sleeve. Dang she is getting old lol jk. Cody and I got her some red roses (SHE LOVES FLOWERS) and we went to dinner with her to the olive garden. YUM! Savannah told us about this celebration cake that you can get there for birthdays thats only $6, wow it was fabulous! Anyways, we enjoyed dinner with her, we all got the same thing (seafood alfredo) (but me and Cody said NO scaloups! YUCK!) (I tried a scaloup and it was horrible!) and then we went home. It was a lot of fun, just spending time with her! <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 128px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 221px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5454461951159312466" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4fBqNLT-GHUj3JBO062QWvMKDhnn6N2aKe04nHGskBgNNwszZ4YlA9uHM5Gg1a0e7I0zpWsLo4YQ1PJeA_qYqq8gwyjsOFygiX8No_L5U4lk0jpOsbJTWFoB18ytxPUPfXeGiR9-Y2rTo/s320/momandbill-1.jpg" />She is an awesome person and I lover her so so much!
