My Vegas Trip!

Me, Cody, Cory (Cody's brother), & Kazya (Cory's Fiance) decided on Wednesday that we wanted to go out of town. At first we were thinking camping. Fun & and not too expensive. Well everywhere you could go camping in Utah and Idaho had bad weather warnings, so we put our heads together. We were all determined to go out of town, but where? LAS VEGAS NEVADA! Why not right, we had enough to cover gas, they paid for the hotel, and I drove! Perfect idea! We booked the hotel, and planned everything out, and we left Friday for Vegas!

It only took us 6 hours to get there, we ended up in Vegas at about 6 or 7. We found our hotel with the help of Mapquest! We stayed @ The Vegas Club. Its right on Fremont street, so we got to have the Fremont Street Experience! The overhead TV screens were really cool, other than that there are a lot of weirdos that hang out on Fremont Street lol.

We got checked in and went up to our room. Simple two beds with a tiny TV and a terrible view! But I LOVED IT! We were on vacation, that was all I cared about. Poor Cody had gotten sick on the way to Vegas. He had a fever and simply felt like crap! So me and him stayed at the hotel and Cory & Kazya went out to check out the town! I took care of my Cody. Got him water, put a cold towel on his head. I just wanted him to feel comfortable. We watched "Pretty Woman" (i love that show) and went to bed.

We woke up the next morning, and Cody was feeling better, so we decided to go to the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet! This place was cool. It was $1 to get in but there was two miles of stuff! There was a reptile store in there, so OF COURSE I had to check it out. Harry the Snake was there! HUGE SNAKE scared me lol.

After the swap meet, we went to the strip. We parked at the Luxor, and walked to the MGM Grand! I wanted to see the Lion Habitat. By far the coolest thing ever. The male Lion got so close I could have touched him if the glass wouldnt have been there. I loved it. After the MGM we went to the M&M and Coke Cola Store. It rained on us a little but it wasnt too bad.

After that we went back to the hotel and layed down for a little bit. We wanted to be rested for the night. Me and Cody went and got some food, and went and checked out the pool, it was too cold to swim, but the pool area was cool. To go on the strip that night we decided to take the bus to help preserve our gas to get home. So we walked to the bottom of Fremont Street and bought our bus tickets. Well we ended up giving away our bus tickets because they wouldnt let us take drinks on the bus. So we just took the car.

We parked at the luxor again, and went to the MGM. Cory and Kazya went and got food and me and Cody went out on the strip! He is a good tour guide! He showed me all the cool stuff, and told me about the strip! It was fun to be just the two of us. We walked down to Tresaure Island to see the show, but we missed it so we started to head back towards the car, (Cory and Kazya were waiting for us). We stopped in front of the Belagio for a little bit and then made our way back to the car. My feet hurt so bad! We layed in bed and watched TV for a little bit, and fell asleep.

The next day before we left we went to Jack in the Box for lunch. Which was cool, because I had never been there! It was actually really good. We headed out after filling up the gas tank in the Camary, and were home before we knew it. It was a fun trip, and it was great to get out of town for a weekend. But its good to be home!

I worked at many things for a living

that included, but not limited to,

capentry, logging, trapping, shoeing harses

and asses, stuntman wrangler, house painting,

trucker, car sales, tavern owner and engineer

I was educated in the local school system

and graduated from

Bonnville High School.

I had the inclination and found

the time to attend college, three years

at Weber State, three years at

the University of Utah.

Graduating with a degree of Bachelor of Science

in Electronical Engineering (MEEE),

incomplete due to ill health.

At the time of the public printing I have engraved my

tombstone, dug my grave and written

my obituary. I think it is safe to say "I have

quit all my habits, good and bad".

Papa Scott was loved dearly by his grandchildern,

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole, his brothers

Craig, Reed, and Brad, and one sister Renee.

Scot was preceded in death by his parents.

He was lucky to have us in his life, but we were

Me & Cody have been together since August 2009. I'm not sure of the exact day I finally became is girlfriend (which I think sucks), but we know it was in that month.

We have fun together, and he makes me laugh! He is so good to me! I always feel so safe and protected. I know he wouldn't let anything bad happen to me.

Of course, he is also an Eagles fan! The Eagles are actually the reason I got a second date with him. On our first date he picked me up from my house and took me to Chili's. Through out dinner, he didnt seem very interested, kinda bored in a way. After dinner we went back to my house, because we were going to go swimming with some friends.

While I was trying to locate my swimsuit, Cody saw my Eagles jersey in the closet and was speechless! He LOVED that I LOVE the Eagles (not many Eagle fans in Utah). Anyways, we went swimming and had a great time. After that we started hanging out a lot, and I became is girlfriend. One day we were talking about our first date and he tells me that if I wouldnt have been an Eagles fan he would have probably not asked me out again. I'm glad I have those Eagles, they have yet to give me a SuperBowl, but I got Cody and to me thats PERFECT!

He probably hates when I tell this story, but i love it, cuz if it wasn't for the best team EVER, I wouldn't have had the chance to fall in love with him.

Me and my mom have been going to this MaryKay makeover thing on Saturday mornings!

It has been really fun. So far we have done skin care and color basic.

Last Saturday my best friend and her little sister and her daughter Jillean (my god-daughter) got to come. We all had a blast!

Mothers Day

Happy Late Mothers Day to all the mothers out there.

For Mothers Day this year I wanted to make my mom feel really special! She has been working out a lot, and has lost some weight! I thought it would be fun to take her to the Union Station & take some pictures of her, to show her how great she really looks! Luckly the weather cooperated with us and we got some GREAT pictures and had a great time!

MOM~ I love you! Your the best mom I know & I wouldn't trade you for anything :)

You do so much for me & I really appreciate it! I dont know what I would do with out you! You have so much love in your heart for all your kids! No matter what silly things we come home with! Hope your Mother's Day was one to remember!

The older you get the more lame Easter becomes. Luckly Cody has nephews and nieces that make it fun!
This year our Easter started out at my Mom's house for breakfast with me, Cody, my mom, and Cody's mom Diane. We had eggs, ham, toast, & hashbrowns. It was delicious! Cody was particularly pleased, because he made little sandwiches. YUM!
After breakfast we headed up to McKay Dee Hospitial because a new addition to Cody's family was on her way. Cory & Kazya were about to become Mommy & Daddy (Cody's brother and his fiance). We got to the hospital around 11 o'clock, and the waiting game began. She was born @ 2:17, 8lbs, 10oz, and 21 inches long. Big beautiful baby girl! She looks just like Kazya I think, but she has Cory's nose. What a perfect little Easter miricale.
After the hospital we went to Cody's sister Abbie's house for dinner. Her mom, sister, cousin, grandma, and Mom's boyfriend were in town for easter (Abbie hasn't seen them in about 4 years) it was nice meeting everyone, and hearing the stories of Abbie's youth.
After Abbie's we went to our friend Lu's house for a fire pit. (we always at Lu's) while we were there, the most embarassing thing happened! While sitting around the fire pit out back, I got a phone call and I didnt recognize the phone number. (since I changed my # last I keep getting these calls for some guy. Bill collectors & friends of this guy keep calling, and it is really frustrating to me LOL). So I picked up the phone, and it was a guy. I said hello, and he said hello, we kinda sat there for a min (by now I figure it is for that guy, and I got really frustrated) I asked the man on the phone "who the f*&^ is this" (excuse my language), well....long story short....it was my DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of all people to swear at like that....MY DAD!! I was so embarrassed! I appologized more than a few times, but we had a good talk despite my profanity.
I miss my dad, we dont talk much so when we get a chance its nice.
Well that is how my easter went. Sorry there are no pictures. We didnt take any lol (not prepared).

~tattoos~

The world is divided into two kinds of people: Thos who have tattoos, and those who are afraid of people with tattoos. Either that or they think we are bad people. Its the year 2010 more than just bikers and ex-cons get tattoos. It's sad really but its true. I have tattoos, and "for a girl" quite a few. I love my tattoos. But I do get those awkward stares from people when I'm at the grocery store, or at a resturant.
Tattoo's are the thing of my generation. And all of my tattoos have a meaning to me.

This tattoo is my quarter sleeve. It started out as just the little bird

and grew into my "master piece". It, believe it or not, has meaning to me.

I choose the lotus flowers, because they mean, a new beginning.

The bird means, freedom/carefree.
And the quote "Diamond in a Landmine", means that I

am not going to let guys push me around anymore.

This is my Fender tattoo, for my baby Fender.

I love that dog so much, and would be heartbroken with out him.

Soon I will be adding a tattoo for Gracie on the same foot.

This is my first ever tattoo. I got it on my hip, when I was 17. This
is the only tattoo I regret. I got it to get a tattoo, and it has no meaning.

This is my tattoo that my brother got me for my 18th birthday.

He has the same kongi on his side.

It means Sincere Love.

(I know that it really says that because I

had a chinese lady read it).

Bryce wanted to buy me my first tattoo,

but already had two, so he just settled for getting me a tattoo for a gift.

This is that tattoo that has the most meaning to me. When my aunt Jenny got sick I got the cherry blossom for her. She was diagnosed with brain cancer, and was also pregnant with her second daughter. Cherry blossoms mean feminine strength. I can't think of anything but strong when you can handle being pregnant and going through treatment for cancer.

The day after she passed away, I went to the tattoo shop and had her name tattooed with the flower. I love my aunt Jenny very much and miss her everday. I love that I have something to remind me how special life is.

Im going to blog about someone that is very close to my heart. She is my best friend and always will be. She is always there for me either to help me with a problem or just put a smile on my face. She is a great wife, and mother.

I was her Maid of Honor when she was married, to the love of her life Shane Cannon.

I was there for her as much as I could be when she got pregnant, and I was there with her when she gave birth to beautiful Jillean. She is the best friend I have ever had. She means the world to me and I hope we stay friends forever. I Love you Shay!

The only thing I can think of right now would be discovering Precious (Cody's brother's dog) special gift. lol she will put out our cigarettes when we drop them in the dirt. If you tell her to "put it out" she will find the smoke and then start kicking dirt around it (she doesnt touch the cherry, so she isn't getting burned) till it stops smoking lol.
